Fall Fun at Preschool
Fall is such a fun time at preschool. As soon as school starts the classroom is filled with fall leaves, pumpkins, and more! Here is a peek at just a few of the many fall activities we love at RPCP. In the 4 year-old class, we always have a letter of the week. Of course, P had to be for Pumpkin!
Tactile bin with yellow split peas
Lots of investigations for the students
Ms. Julie made the most delicious cinnamon roasted pumpkin seeds! 1. Have students help harvest the seeds from the pumpkin (the fun messy part). 2. Rinse off then pat the seeds dry. 3. Add cinnamon, sugar and oil to taste. 4. Let the students help stir! 5. Bake for 45 min. Please see the full recipe that we adapted it from here
The students even decided to do their own fall “baking”
Both the 3 year-old and 4 year-old classes always love our annual fall trip to Two Brother’s Pumpkin Patch! This year we saw adorable calves, fuzzy caterpillars, colorful gourds, squash blossoms, and of course….Pumpkins!
Hope you all are enjoying the Fall as much as we are!
